Manual 365/161 Bonus Post

Not my main subject for todays’ blog, I’m saving that for later but I though it was worth a post.

My first proper attempt at the Zoom Effect, I have tried it in the past with pretty dire results. This time I tried it using my new 18-105mm lens. I had to shut the aperture right down to the minimum f/22 @18mm to f/36 @105mm and a shutter speed of 1/3 of a sec.

If you’re unaware of the zoom effect it’s created by zooming in on a subject while the shutter is open. The subject was Crooks Oak, just outside Hanslope, Milton Keynes.

Off out in a bit to get the main theme for today but I hope you like my little bonus! ;o)

Peace Peeps! x
